Stages

On tap for the TransRockies Run Pass to Pub we have two race distances: The Full Pint and the shorter distance Half Pint. Each is challenging in its own way and each consists of three unique stages over three days – July 19th-21st, 2026.

The Full Pint
At 51 miles (82 km) and 9,635 ft (2,937 m) of vertical gain, The Full Pint is for those who want to experience a little more distance and elevation gain.

The Half Pint
For those that are looking for something a little less intense, we present The Half Pint. It has all the flavor without as much volume, at 35 miles (56.3 km) and 6,855 ft (2089 m) of vertical gain.


Race Format

Categories & Awards:

Awards will be presented for Full/Half Pint in the following categories:

  • Elite Men/Women - Competitive (you usually finish in the top 15%) - 1st place receives a complimentary entry to any of our stage races.

  • Open Men/Women - Under 50 - 1st place receives a complimentary entry to any of our stage races.

  • 50+ Men/Women - 1st place receive a complimentary entry to any of our stage races.

  • 1st to 3rd places in the General Classification (GC) for male and female Full Pint & Half Pint

    (age category is based on the age you'll be on the first day of the event)

Important Notes:

  • Please stay on the trails at all times.

  • Fragile areas can be destroyed by going off trail.

  • Follow course markings, and please don’t litter.

  • Denver Airport shuttles are not included on your entry. They can be purchased separately during registration for $130. Shuttles during the event, to and from the start/finish locations and Leadville and Nova Guides, are included in your entry. There is an awesome shuttle company based in Eagle called EPIC Mountain Express. Their website is www.epicmountainexpress.com.


Schedule

Saturday, July 18th

12:30pm -  Shuttle Bus departs Denver International to Leadville (not included in entry).

2:00pm - 6:00pm - Registration + Expo: Freight - 320 E 9th Street, Leadville, CO 80461 

4:00pm - Shake Out Run - Freight - 320 E 9th Street, Leadville 

6:30pm - 7:30pm - Opening Ceremonies at The Freight 

**Accommodation is on your own for Saturday night**

If you signed up for the Camping Package (meals + shower truck + camping + toilets + ChillVille), that will begin on Sunday night. 

Sunday, July 19th - Stage 1 - Hope Pass

6:00am - 7:15am - 445 McWethy Drive, Leadville (Parking Lot) - Start Loading Shuttles to the start of Hope Pass. Drop off your Luggage (we don’t provide a duffel bag) to our crew and we will transport it to Nova Guides. Please don’t forget a Drop Bag for every start (puffy jacket, change of shorts, shirt and flip flops). The Drop Bags will be at the Finish at Twin Lakes Reservoir on Stage 1, Nova Guides on Stage 2 and Mangos on Stage 3.

6:15am - Last Half Pint Shuttle departs Leadville

7:15am - Last Full Pint Shuttle departs Leadville 

7:00am - Start of the Full Pint Dawn Patrol

7:30am - Start of the Half Pint 

8:30am - Start of the Full Pint 

9:30am - First Half Pint Finisher at Twin Lakes Reservoir. Don’t forget to grab your drop bags at the finish line.

10:30am - First Full Pint Finisher at Twin Lakes Reservoir 

11:00am - 4:00pm - Continuous Shuttles from Twin Lakes Reservoir to Leadville and Nova Guides 

4:00pm:  Awards at ChillVille in Nova Guides 

5:00pm:  Dinner at Nova Guides for those who purchased the camping package.

6:30pm - 7:30pm:  Evening Ceremonies at Nova Guides 

7:30pm - 9:00pm - Live Music in ChillVille at Nova Guides


Monday, July 20th - Stage 2 - Leadville to Nova Guides

6:00am: Breakfast at Nova Guides 

6:15am: Full Pint Dawn Patrol (hikers only) shuttles begin from Nova Guides to Leadville for the start on Harrison Avenue.

6:30am: Full Pint shuttles begin from Nova Guides to Leadville for the start on Harrison Avenue.

6:45am: Full Pint Dawn Patrol Start - Leadville (walkers only)

7:30am:  Half Pint Shuttles from Nova Guides to Ski Cooper start. **Pending US Forest Service approval 

7:30am:  Half Pint Shuttles from Leadville to Ski Cooper - meet at 445 McWethy Drive (Parking Lot)

8:00am: Full Pint Start in Leadville.

9:00am:  Half Pint Start at Ski Cooper. **Pending US Forest Service approval

11:00am - 4:00pm - Continuous Shuttles from Nova Guides to Leadville

4:00pm - Awards in ChillVille at Nova Guides  

5:00pm:  Dinner at Nova Guides for those who purchased camping package. 

6:30pm - 7:30pm:  Evening Presentation at Nova Guides.

7:30pm - 9:00pm - The Sweet Lillies 


Tuesday, July 21st - Stage 3 - Nova Guides to Red Cliff (Mangos)

6:00am:  Breakfast at Nova Guides

6:30am: Dawn Patrol Start (hikers only) - No Half Pint option on Stage 3.

8:00am:  Full and Half Pint Start 

11:00am - 4:00pm - Continuous Shuttles from Red Cliff to Nova Guides and Leadville

1:00pm:  Awards in the parking lot of Mangos. 

5:00pm - Shuttles from Nova Guides to the Denver International Airport (not included in entry).

5:00pm:  Dinner at Nova Guides for those who purchased the camping package or purchase a final banquet ticket ($60).

6:30pm - 8:30pm: Live music in ChillVille


Wednesday, July 22nd

6:00am - Breakfast 

7:00am - Shuttles from Nova Guides to the Denver International Airport (not included in entry).
